Traders With Edge calls its 2 programs challenges, as they both start with demo accounts to see if you have the talent to become a funded trader. Both challenges follow the same basic guidelines but have different profit targets.
Once you successfully complete a challenge, you become a funded trader and can start generating profits with your trading.
Turtle Account
As you may guess, the Turtle Account is slower paced with smoother requirements for passing the challenge. There are two account types, one being the Standard Account and the Aggressive Account, both accounts with a 1-phase challenge,
The Standard Account has a 1:20 leverage.
Traders have up to 365 days to search the markets for the best trading opportunities, with the main goal of reaching a 10% profit target. Except for Aggressive account, the profit target is 20%.
There is a wide range of starting capital amounts to choose from, starting as small as $5,000 ranging all the way up to $1,000,000.
It is crucial to make sure that the account does not drop more than 2.5% in a single day or 5% in total from your initial equity amount.
If one of these violations is breached, your account will be terminated, and you will have to start over from scratch with a new account.
Should you succeed, Traders With Edge will promote you to a funded trader, where you will get to keep 80% of any profits you will earn from your trading,
Hare Account
The Hare Account is for faster paced traders that want to start turning a profit in the shortest amount of time. It also offers two types of accounts, the Standard Account, and the Aggressive Account. They both have a 1:50 leverage.
The Standard Account options range from $5,000 to $50,000 in your demo account. ($100,000 and $200,000 coming soon)
This challenge has two phases, in the Standard Accounts, Phase 1 requires a 10% profit in 30 days and a 5% profit in 60 days in the Phase 2.
As for the Aggressive Accounts, Phase 1 requires a 20% target profit in 60 days and 20% profit in the Phase 2 of the program.
Both phases must not fall below a 5% maximum daily loss or an overall max loss of 10% from initial equity.
If you successfully make it through both phases, you will score a funded trading account and become eligible to keep 80% of the profits you bring in.
Instant Accounts | Profit Target & Scaling
Standard Account
The profit target to reach the next level of the Instant Standard Account is 10%. Traders are free to make withdrawals from their account, this will not affect their profit target to scale.
For example, if you make a 6% profit, make a 6% withdrawal from your funded account, and then make another 4% profit, you would still be eligible to scale to the next level.
Aggressive Account
The profit target to reach the next level of the Instant Aggressive Accounts is 20%. Again, traders are free to make withdrawals from their funded account as they wish, and it would not affect their profit target to scale.
For example, if you make a 12% profit, make a 12% withdrawal from your trading account, and then make another 8% profit, you would still be eligible to scale to the next level.
