Who is the Funded Futures Network and why use this Futures Prop Firm?

If you’re a trader looking to take your skills to the next level without being bogged down by the strict limitations common in many other firms, FFN could be the ideal choice for you. The prop firm focuses on you, the trader. Founded by experienced traders, they understand the unique challenges. Their mission is to create a supportive environment that empowers you to thrive.

DISCIPLINE

Successful traders know that trading isn’t just about making moves—it’s about knowing when to trade and when to hold off. It’s about recognizing when to enter and when to exit, or even when it’s time to step away for the day. The most successful traders consistently practice discipline, and it’s clear that anyone serious about trading must adopt this mindset. From what we’ve seen, this futures prop firm fosters a strong culture of discipline, where patience and timing are valued as much as technical skill.

TRANSPARENCY

One thing that stands out is the transparency this platform offers. FFN provide clear insights into how the evaluation process works, how payouts are handled, and whether there are any hidden restrictions when it comes to withdrawals. It’s reassuring to see an environment that truly values openness. If you ever have questions beyond what’s already on their site, they encourage reaching out—no hidden agendas or vague answers here. That level of transparency is a real plus.

HUMILITY

In the fast-paced world of trading, staying humble is key. At Funded Futures Network, there’s a clear emphasis on creating a community that values humility. Trading is a mental challenge, and it’s easy to get swept up in success or become too hard on yourself when things don’t go your way. What we’ve observed here is a group of traders who recognize the importance of staying grounded. Humility is woven into the culture, helping everyone remain focused on continuous growth and learning, no matter their current success.

ACCOUNTABILITY

One of the most valuable aspects of this community is the strong sense of accountability that’s encouraged. Futures trading can be isolating, but here, traders support each other, much like you’d find in a traditional prop trading desk. Accountability partners play a huge role in ensuring traders stay on track, making better decisions and providing a sounding board when things get tough. This shared responsibility helps keep traders on their toes and creates a network of people who understand the unique challenges of the trading world.

Funded Futures Network is genuinely invested in your success. Unlike many other proprietary trading firms that profit primarily from challenge fees and often encourage failure (since you’re trading on simulated accounts), FFN prop firm is dedicated to ensuring you succeed. Once you pass the challenge, you’re trading real capital—no simulated environment. This aligns FFN’s success with yours, as they only win when you do. Their goal is to help you grow as a trader, unlike firms that just want to collect fees.

How It Works

Step-by-Step

When you decide to start a challenge with FFN, you’ll choose between two plans: Standard and Express. Both plans have their own set of rules, and there are five different account sizes available.

#1 Choose Your Account

  • Select an account size that best fits your trading goals, from $25,000 to $250,000.
  • With a simple monthly subscription, you can quickly start trading using an evaluation account.
  • Reach the profit target for your account without breaking any trading rules.
  • You can reset your evaluation for only a $100 fee.
  • Funded Futures Network is the only Futures Prop Firm that provides a real-time dashboard to check your account balance anytime.

#2 Pass the Evaluation

  • When you reach your profit target in the evaluation account, the prop firm will review your account.
  • After passing their review, you’ll pay a $120 setup fee to receive your Exhibition Account.
  • In this phase, you’ll prepare for your live-funded “Funded-Pro” account, which takes 2-5 business days to set up. Remember, maintaining rule compliance is essential, as breaking a rule in the exhibition requires either an account reset or restarting the evaluation process.
  • See the evaluation rules HERE

#3 Get a Funded Trading Account

  • After you finish the exhibition phase, your Funded-Pro account will be ready for live trading.
  • With a dedicated personal risk manager, you’ll have support to grow your account.
  • As you trade, keep your balance above a set threshold to qualify for withdrawals.
  • Withdrawals over $1,000 can be initiated anytime, with 80% of profits going to you and 20% to Funded Futures Network
  • Same day payouts are processed within 24 hours via ACH, PayPal, or bank wire.

50K Account Challenge Standard Express
Daily Drawdown None None
Trailing Max Drawdown $2,000 $2,000
Profit Target $3,000 $3,000
Max Contracts 4 4
Pass In 15 days 7 days
Consistency Rule 40% 15%

Standard vs Express Plan

The primary differences between the two plans lie in the number of trading days required and the consistency rule.

  • Standard Plan: You need to complete 15 trading days, where each day you place at least one trade counts toward your total. There’s no time limit to pass the challenge, allowing you to go at your own pace.
    • The consistency rule requires you to aim for a maximum of 40% of the profit target per day. If you exceed this, the target will adjust higher.

Standard Plan Calculation: $3,000 (profit target) × 0.40 (40%) = $1,200

  • Express Plan: You need to complete 7 trading days, placing at least one trade per day. You can earn up to 15% of the profit target per day.
    • If you exceed this 15% limit, the profit target will increase to keep things balanced.

Express Plan Calculation: $3,000 (profit target) × 0.15 (15%) = $450

During these phases, you’ll be trading on a simulated account.

What Happens After You Pass?

Once you complete the challenge, you move on to an exhibition account, where you’ll need to earn an amount equivalent to the trailing max drawdown. This step ensures you’re prepared for real-money trading, helping you establish consistency and discipline.

There’s an activation fee of $120 for each successful account, but there’s no minimum number of trading days or consistency rule in the exhibition phase—you can complete it in a single day if needed.

Getting a Funded-Pro Account

After finishing the evaluation, you’ll receive instructions to complete documentation and verify your ID. Once these steps are done, your real account will be set up, typically within 2-5 business days.

Funded-Pro Account Information

  • Flexible Payout Requests: You can request a payout any time your balance meets the minimum threshold.
  • Minimum Withdrawal: The smallest withdrawal amount is $1,000. Anything above this amount is fair game as long as your balance exceeds the minimum.
  • Account Minimum Thresholds: Each account size has a specific balance you need to maintain to request a payout:
    • 25K Account: $26,500
    • 50K Account: $52,000
    • 100K Account: $103,600
    • 150K Account: $155,000
    • 250K Account: $256,000
  • Falling Below the Threshold: If your balance falls below the threshold, you’re not breaking any rules, but you must bring it back above the threshold to request a payout.
  • Profit Split: FFN takes a 20% fee from your withdrawal, and you receive the remaining 80%.
  • Withdrawal Methods: Payouts are processed via PayPal, bank wire, or ACH (ACH is the default).

For those looking to trade with more contracts, be sure to follow the scaling rules.
